Vários artistas estão se juntando para lançar coletâneas em prol de movimentos ativistas.
Recentemente nomes como Hayley Williams, Alex G, Death Cab For Cutie, R.E.M., Sharon Van Etten e muito mais disponibilizaram por 24 horas no Bandcamp, covers, remixes, versões ao vivo e até demos inéditas, numa ação chamada Good Music To Avert The Collapse Of American Democracy (Boa música para evitar o colapso da democracia americana).
Agora, outro projeto semelhante chamado Shut it Down: Benefit for the Movement for Black Lives (Desligue-o: Benefício para o Movimento por Vidas Negras) está reunindo várias bandas de metal e punk a favor do movimento Black Lives Matter.
Neste, por exemplo, você poderá ouvir a banda Thou fazendo uma versão de “Kerosene” do Bad Religion, e ainda faixas de War On Women, Modern Life Is War, Primitive Man, The 1865 e muito mais.

Já um outro projeto, também destinado à luta antirracista, juntou artistas do ska, como

Intitulado Ska Against Racism, a coletânea inclui um disco de vinil de 12 polegadas e a versão digital do material, porém já teve seu estoque esgotado.
